For the City of Mulberry

Parent, Husband, devoted citizen to City of Mulberry

Vision, Issues, & Values

My name is Michael Rudnick. I am a parent, husband, and devoted citizen in Mulberry.

Michael Rudnick and family - Candidate for Gwinnett County School Board

I have been a citizen of the City of Mulberry since 2018 and Gwinnett County since 2010. More importantly, I have been an active member of our community involved in the schools, boy scouts, my church, and local government. As an employee of a local government I have learned what it takes to run a successful city for ALL citizens.

As your City Council Member I will fight for:

Controlled and appropriate growth where needed

Keep our neighborhoods and communities safe

Attract and keep quality businesses

Never implement new taxes

About Michael

Michael grew up in Marietta and attended Lassiter High School.  He attended the University of Georgia and majored in Speech communication while graduating in 2003.

After college Michael worked for his father running the family business, a local sign store near Marietta Square.  In 2005 Michael started working locally for Enterprise-Rent-a-Car.  He was eventually promoted to Area manager over parts of Gwinnett County and the Athens local area.  In 2012 he was promoted to Louisville, Kentucky to be the Tri-Branded area manager over Alamo, National, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.  In 2018 because of the school system his family made the decision to move back to Gwinnett County specifically where the City of Mulberry currently is.

The Rudnick’s specifically targeted this area due to the special education program, the community, and most importantly the people that call it home.  After settling near Mill Creek High School Michael began working for the City of Lawrenceville as the Fleet Director.  Michael has enjoyed being able to give back to the community while working in the public sector and serving the citizens of Lawrenceville in a professional setting.

Michael throughout the years has been very vocal as it concerns the local school system.  He ran for the local school board in 2022 but was unsuccessful in winning that race.

Michael has been involved in Boy Scouts since 2013 when his son Brady first became a Cub Scout.  Brady is currently a “Second Class Scout” Working toward “First Class”.

Michael is currently in graduate school at the University of Georgia for a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and is on track to complete his degree in April of 2025.

Michael is a well-known and well-respected member of the City of Mulberry and looks forward to getting this city off on the right foot and solid base for success.
